Istanbul Living Lab

Living Lab is a concept for innovation and creativity. Their primary mission is to encourage young people (ages 8-25) in different countries to find an outlet for their creativity and develop their ideas into new products and/or even new enterprises. Living lab not only provides well-equipped facilities for various activities; they also organize design competitions and lectures, help develop prototypes, lend computers, and more.

Living Labs exist in more than 340 locations worldwide. The Living Lab organization has an extensive collaboration and knowledge exchange. In order to facilitate the collaborative projects and make it possible to simultaneously connect to other Living Labs, Living Lab Istanbul invested in four interactive walls from Wallrite. The walls are used daily in various types of meetings and workshops. Other Learning Labs are interested in following the Istanbul initiative. In 2015, their intention is to invest in standard model Wallrite surfaces in order to extend their activities both locally and globally.
